The congregations in our parish are members of the United Methodist Church. The United Methodist Church is a Christian denomination with its roots in the holiness movements led by John Wesley, along with other movements in the earliest years of American History. United Methodists have much in common with other Protestant denominations, as well as Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Churches. But it also has unique traditions around grace, holiness, and loving our neighbors that are a centerpiece of our faith.
