At Blessed Trinity United Methodist Cooperative Parish, we gather to respond to God’s calling
to become disciples, growing in our love for God and for our neighbors in all that we do. And so,
we do church in lots of different ways––worshiping, learning, growing, and serving.
Our three congregations worship in different styles and represent different ways of connecting
with God. In our parish, you might hear old school hymns, up-tempo praise and worship music,
triumphant organ voluntaries and gorgeous piano meditations, along with lots of joyful voices.
We gather in lots of different ways. We have groups for men and women, for youth and young
adults. We have groups who gather to knit, to do crafts together, to pray for those who are sick
or in need, among many others.
We also learn together. We learn in small groups and in longstanding Sunday School classes, we
learn in intense, short term classes with our pastors, we learn in classrooms full of all ages that
have fun exploring their faith––and in lots of other ways too!
We grow together throughout our lives. We have childcare and Sunday school opportunities for
our youngest kids. We invite youth to explore and grow their faith in youth events and youth
group meetings. We have confirmation classes and chances for young people to help lead
worship.
We also gather to serve––to serve our community, to serve our neighbors, to serve God. We
serve food in caring dinners and breakfasts each month. We serve families with family events
twice a month. We serve the community with our Church Lights program. We serve by
gathering groups that show up to help cities in need around Northeast Ohio on work trips.
